Just In: President Tinubu Departs Nigeria For Equatorial Guinea
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday departed Abuja for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on a three-day official visit.
The trip is to honour the invitation of President Teodoro Mbasogo. The President arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 2 pm. He, thereafter, boarded the presidential jet and was saluted by top military personnel and government officials.
Those on the ground were the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje; Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma and his Kwara State counterpart, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Earlier, presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said Tinubu would hold meetings with Mr Mbasogo, and sign agreements on oil and gas and security.
