Do you wear your brown shoes with dark suits? If so, come to the front of the class. Let's have a decent conversation.

Please, please, in the name of anything holy. Do not pair your dark suits with brown shoes.

Dark suits are inherently dressy, and brown is inherently a formal colour. The proper shoes for your dark suits are going to be black, black Oxfords. As old and classic as the hills.

If you wish to wear lighter shades of blue or grey, say a medium grey, then a deep burgundy oxblood as some will call it will be a good substitute, but no brown shoes

So gentlemen, please. Never, never, and that means never under no circumstances your dark suits with brown shoes.
